Two‑Part Lighthouse Drawing & Painting Class — Registration Now Open!
Unleash your creativity at the Amos Memorial Library, Sidney, OH, with a special two‑session art workshop focused on drawing and painting a coastal lighthouse in watercolor. This hands‑on class will guide you step‑by‑step as you create your own finished artwork. Cost $40.00 for both days.
Tuesday Feb. 17 and Tuesday Feb. 24 Two times available 10am-12pm and 5pm-7pm.

SUPPLIES LIST
Paper -140#, cold pressed. Strathmore is fine to start out with. As you improve, good quality, 100% cotton paper such as , Fabriano Artistico (my favorite) Arches, Waterford are all very good and you will see a difference.
Brushes-1/2” flat, Large mop brush, #8, #12 watercolor round brush. I like silver black velvet or princeton velvettouch. A rigger or liner brush for thin branches or detail.
Paints -To start out with, Winsor & Newton Cotman make good student grade paints. If budget isnt’ an issue I really like Daniel Smith Watercolor paints. Email or text me for what you will need for your class, or I can recommend a basic set.
A board to tape your paper to, masking tape, water tub or jar, pencil, spray bottle, paper towels.
